TMAWNB [ABO] 24 - New Drugs

Totally Marked by an Alpha Who's Not My Boyfriend [ABO]

Chapter 24 - New Drugs

The consequence of going too far is that Chu Ling developed a low-grade fever the next day.

Han Gu immediately drove back early in the morning and made an appointment with a family doctor. When they got home, the doctor was almost there.

Chu Ling's body temperature was just a little higher than usual, but his body was not doing well. But he looked at the doctor with almost guilty conscience. He didn't forget what the other party had instructed before, but they didn't do it. The more critical problem is that he is afraid to hear the same words from the doctor again.

Overindulgence.

That might make his thin skin hang.

Fortunately, the doctor didn't say anything this time, probably because he thought it might not be useful to talk to Chu Ling, so this time he asked another question, "The next estrus period...Are you going to use contraceptives?"

Chu Ling snorted, thinking about the situation last time, and couldn't help but worry: "Am I going to...? In advance?"

He remembered that it had only been about two months since the last time.

"That's not true." The doctor teased seriously: "But if it is so unrestrained, it will be almost the same."

Chu Ling was really afraid of this doctor.

The doctor glanced at Chu Ling, and suddenly said: "Just taking this opportunity, I have news to tell you. There have been breakthroughs in medical research in recent years. It is expected that at the end of next month, there will be a way to washing off the Omega mark. The medicine has been accepted."

Chu Ling was stunned for a moment.

"Although I think it may not be necessary in your situation, but according to the regulations, I should let you know about this matter. All involuntary markers are the priority targets."

"Does this mean... Omega's able to completely wash off the mark from Alpha? From then on..."

"Yeah. After washing off the mark, Alpha and Omega will no longer have any relationship."

For some reason, Chu Ling suddenly felt a little scared, "...Does Han Gu, know?"

The doctor showed a slightly surprised expression, but still said, "Mr. Han is the most important investor in this new drug research."

Chu Ling asked again, "Do you know when this research started?"

The doctor recalled and said: "It started about five or six years ago, and it was blocked by a lot of Alphas in the first year. After all, this idea is too... naive, at least for most Alphas. Their desires are stronger than ordinary people, and naturally they can't stand their Omegas wanting to get out of their control. But the bond between AO's is too complicated, and there are too many examples of failures in previous research. But Mr. Han still refuses to give up and continues to invest in human and material resources. It was only recently, about half a year ago... that it finally came to fruition."

Chu Ling remembered that half a year ago, it was when Han Gu was working overtime like crazy.

"I remember the official document should have been sent not long ago. Didn't you receive it?"

"I received it..." Chu Ling remembered that he had sent a document to Han Gu's office. It turned out to be this documents. That's why Han Gu is planned to...

The doctor said, "Although it's hard to say anything from my standpoint, I think that Mr. Han may be doing this for you."

Chu Ling didn't know what to say at this time.

"Okay, don't worry you just caught a little cold. You'll be fine after a good night's sleep."

Hearing that, Chu Ling really obediently lay down in the bed. He heard the footsteps of the doctor walking out of the door, and the voice of the doctor and Han Gu talking briefly. Chu Ling suddenly felt his head in a mess.

He always thought that the situation where he and Han Gu can continue to like each other, and he even likes this kind of life very much. He thought they had been bound together for the rest of their lives, and he could wait at least until Han Gu was willing to truly accept him. But unexpectedly, Han Gu had prepared their own way back from the beginning.

That's why he maintained this ambiguous relationship with himself, and did not respond to his words that he hoped that the other party would treat his home as his real home? He regarded this trip as his last memory, isn't it right?

When the doctor left, Han Gu went into Chu Ling's room, and when he reached out to touch the other's forehead, he was avoided.

Chu Ling said, "I'm fine."

"You don't look very good."

"Han Gu." Chu Ling felt that he was about to die, and finally couldn't help but ask, "I heard from the doctor about washing off the mark, so... do you want me to accept it?"

Han Gu looked at him, gave a soft hum, and said, "If this is your wish, I will respect your intention."

After Chu Ling heard this sentence, he suddenly felt that his heart slowly cooled down.

───

Since then, their lives have returned to normal, and there is no such thing as excessive indulgence.

After Chu Ling got Han Gu's answer, his attitude was the same as usual, without any cold words, but he was much more alienated than before. But he also thought about it later, and felt that since there were not many days together, why should he turn a blind eye. Maybe he should also leave some good memories for each other like Han Gu.

After all, they were not willing at the beginning. If both parties have a choice, it is understandable that they will reach this step.

Thinking like this, it was inevitable that he felt a little bitter in his heart, but Chu Ling was more able to accept this fact.

So the next morning, he got up early to cook, stood at the door and watched Han Gu go out. Although Han Gu was a little surprised, he seemed to be quite happy.

But in the end, habit and instinct are not easy to resist. Chu Ling hesitated for a while when Han Gu went out, but he still couldn't help kissing him. The kiss only fell on the cheek, neither light nor heavy, nor polite. But they hadn't kissed in a long time, and the physical touch easily aroused certain desires. Han Gu was about to grab Chu Ling and put the kiss on his lips, but Chu Ling took a quick step back and watched him leave with a smile.

Han Gu retracted his half-stretched hand, and suddenly felt that his hand was empty.

Probably the new drug thing has finally come to an end, Han Gu did not work overtime like before. His work and rest became normal, and he would come home no later than nine o'clock.

At most, Chu Ling said hello to him, asked if he had eaten, and occasionally chatted a few irrelevant words. The rest of the time, he was doing his own business which was a bit like returning to the state of living alone.

Han Gu couldn't tell what it felt like, obviously the two of them didn't quarrel, but they just didn't feel well.

The day when the balance was broken was on a certain working day. Han Gu drank alcohol while socializing, and it seemed that he was very uncomfortable because of the drinking. His secretary was in a hurry and couldn't send Han Gu, so he called Chu Ling. Chu Ling personally called a car and took the person home.

Han Gu was drunk, but his consciousness was still awake. Perhaps because of some experience, he did not dare to be so drunk that he was unconscious. "You don't have to come in person."

Chu Ling replied, "I'm worried."

So the two were silent again.

Perhaps because of Chu Ling's presence, Han Gu actually fell asleep on the way back. He basically doesn't get crazy and he doesn't talk nonsense. When he's drunk, he just sleeps peacefully. Chu Ling couldn't bear to see him suddenly like this. He reached out and touched his face. As a result, Han Gu fell directly on his shoulder. When he got home, Chu Ling didn't push him away, and maintained the same posture.

When he got out of the car, he woke Han Gu and let him lie down on the sofa and cook the hangover soup himself.

Chu Ling had just turned off the fire when someone suddenly pressed him up behind him. Chu Ling was afraid of knocking over what was still on the pot, so he quickly pushed the man aside. Just as he turned around, Han Gu accurately kissed his lips. This long-lost kiss was like a numb electric current running from the end of the spine straight to the brain. Chu Ling felt that his whole body was instantly numb like an electric shock, and his hands softly pressed against the man's chest, as if he wanted to refuse and greet him.

Han Gu was still sucking his lips greedily, refusing to let go. He kissed his ear and the sensitive side of his neck. While kissing Chu Ling, he took off the other's trousers in a hurry and touched his backside.

Chu Ling whimpered, but he didn't say the word "no" until he was entered. He even deceived himself by thinking that he also needed to relieve his desires.

But Chu Ling was obviously not emotional, and the acupoint was too dry to accommodate Han Gu's size.

Chu Ling only felt the pain as if his body was being torn apart, but he still did not refuse.

However, Han Gu's movements suddenly stopped.

"I'm sorry, don't cry..."

When he heard Han Gu's voice, Chu Ling realized that he didn't know when to cry. He originally wanted to say that it was because of the pain, that it didn't matter, but the hoarse throat made him unable to say anything.

Han Gu held his face and kissed his tears gently.

Chu Ling was moved to tears by his actions. He knew that he still cared about it, so he couldn't help choking: "I still... want... to be with you..."

He turned his head away and didn't dare to look at Han Gu's face at all. He was afraid of hearing the rejection, but now he doesn't care about anything and just said it to Han Gu.

He just didn't expect Han Gu to hug him even tighter after hearing this, and said in his ear, "I'm sorry, Chu Ling. I like you..."

Chu Ling was stunned. He had already prepared for the worst, but he didn't expect to hear the confession at this time. He turned to look at Han Gu, not knowing what to say for a while.

Han Gu said very seriously: "I just don't want you to bear the infamy, so I want to give you a chance to choose again."

That's why Han Gu asked him at that time, who would he choose if he had another chance?

It was only at this time that Chu Ling remembered, "Didn't you hear the answer?"

"No."

"I choose you."

Han Gu didn't seem to expect that Chu Ling would say it so simply. After being stunned for a while, he laughed and said, "I heard it this time."

After the two cleaned up, they lay on Han Gu's bed together. Han Gu may have drank too much and fell asleep as soon as he touched the bed, but his hand still hugged Chu Ling tightly.

Chu Ling still felt a little unbelievable. Han Gu is drunk, will he forget what he said when he wakes up? Or will he wake up and realize that it was just a dream?

If so, he would suddenly be reluctant to sleep.
